I do love a time slip novel, there are a couple of titles in your list I must add to my reading stack. (I would add Cicada Summer by Kate Constable (2009) and The Four Seasons of Lucy McKenzie by Kirsty Murray (2013) -- two of my favourites post-2009!)

Kicking myself for not thinking of these -- right, I'll definitely have to do another listicle at the end of the year! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I loved Playing Beattie Bow by Ruth Parker as a girl. Adding some of these titles to my “Itching to Read” list!

I discovered PBB in my thirties when I was a bookseller and loved it. Then got a bit obsessed with Ruth Park and read The Harp in the South, Poor Man's Orange, and the first of her memoirs. Fantastic, compassionate writer. From this list I'm currently reading Tumbleglass by Kate Constable and it's a masterful timeslip by an author who knows them inside out. Thanks for stopping by!
